Private Ümit Hospitals Thinks of Working Mothers Too
Private Ümit Hospitals organized a pregnancy education session for working mothers over the weekend. The session, moderated by Op. Dr. Seda Deniz IŞIKLAR, provided expectant mothers and fathers with valuable information and hands-on training.
Initially, Op. Dr. Seda Deniz IŞIKLAR shared insights on birth and the fear of birth. She informed the parents-to-be about how labor begins and addressed their concerns under topics like safety, privacy, and the importance of correct information during both pregnancy and labor.
Practical Training Opportunity!
Fitness Trainer Gülçin KAYA UĞUR taught pregnancy exercises, breathing techniques, and methods for coping with labor pains. She emphasized that pregnancy Pilates greatly helps mothers to have a more comfortable and less painful experience during both pregnancy and labor, demonstrating which exercises are beneficial at different stages.
Massage Expert Özlem Ok demonstrated medical massages for pregnant women and babies. Expert Baby Nurse Hacer AVŞAROĞLU discussed the importance of breastfeeding and shared baby care and bathing techniques.
During the training, expectant fathers also attended, ensuring they supported the mothers throughout the session. At the end of the training, attendees had the chance to ask questions and gain further understanding about the topics they were concerned about.
Private Ümit Hospitals will continue to organize training sessions to prepare expectant mothers for a healthier birth experience.
