The treatment for HPV focuses on removing visible lesions, but it does not eliminate the virus from the body. For protection, condom use during sexual intercourse is important, although it may not fully prevent transmission due to HPV's high contagiousness. Avoiding contact with individuals who have visible genital warts is the most effective prevention method.
